Does Sis tutoring center provide tutoring for all subjects?
Yes, Sis Tutoring Center provides tutors for all levels of math and english from K-12 and even some college level. We also have specialized tutors for sciences and social sciences such as history, biology, physics, chemistry and much more.

How much does the tutoring center charge?
Our prices begin from $120 a month at a minimum of 2 hours per week. Pricing varies depending on the program you enroll your child in; Basic, Extended or Enriched, and also how many hours a week your child will be tutored.

How many days a week should students come to Sis tutoring center?
We require a minimum of two hours a week for each subject and three hours a week for higher levels of mathematics.

Does Sis Tutoring Center offer home tutoring?
No, we do not offer home tutoring. Through experience, we have learned that there are too many disadvantages of in home tutoring. At home, students will only be able to receive basic help and cannot take advantage of our other offers. We have also learned that a proper learning environment is the key and that being at home provides for too many distractions.

Is there any discount for low-income families?
Our fees for group tutoring are already so affordable it's unimaginable a discount will be needed; however, we will not turn away any student in need. Discounts may be provided for families who cannot meet the expense.

Does Sis Tutoring Center help students with their homework?
Our Basic tutoring program does provide help with all homework in your subject of choice. Besides the Basic we have our Extended program which is tutors helping students through extra worksheets and packets the center provides and also our Enriched program which provides the benefit of both homework and extra help.

After how long students will see a good result?
The amount of time varies depending on what program a student is enrolled in. A key deciding factor is also how strong a student foundation is in the subject. Some students have not properly learned all they should know in order to move on to higher levels and therefore need more time to see greater success.

Do we cover California's standard?
Yes, Sis Tutoring center does cover California standard through our Extended and Enriched programs in our provided worksheets.

Does tutoring center pick up students from their school?
Unfortunately, we do not have this advantage at the moment but it is something we are working on providing.

Does Sis Tutoring Center provide private tutoring?
Yes, we do provide private tutoring for all subjects and require it for better results in certain subjects such as chemistry, physics, biology and more.

What are the disadvantages of private tutoring?
At Sis Tutoring Center we like to build our students' self-esteem and raise their levels on confidence in the classroom. Unfortunately private tutoring can hold some students back due to them becoming too dependent on someone constantly being by their side.

Do we test students?
Yes, students enrolled in our Extended and Enriched programs do get tested regularly. Upon completion of their homework packets, each tutor will provide a test based on their previous work to assess the readiness of the student to move on to the next subject. We require a minimum of 90% as a passing grade for each student to move on.

Does Sis Tutoring Center provide CST, California Standard Test, preparation?
Yes, our CST preparation program starts mid December. It is a four month program which teaches students time management and helps students review certain subjects or skills they need to strengthen.

Sis Tutoring Center's tutors are current college students and college graduates. They are trained, experienced tutors who have the ability to diagnose your child's difficulties.

What math tutoring do we offer?
We provide different levels of mathematics such as elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus and more.

What is the success rate of Sis Tutoring Center?
Sis Tutoring Center has a 95% success rate for students who stay with us 3 months or more, however it varies for different students in different levels of foundation. It is important for students to enroll in the program that best fits their needs.
